This free workshop is designed for senior primary to juinor form students, which can be carried out at schools. Each 1 hour session shall hosts 30-40 teenager concurrently.
The Deposit Protection Sceheme (DPS) board game "Around the World in $80" was jointly designed by Hong Kong Deposit Protection Board and People On Board. The story was based on a group of Hong Kong local teenagers in the 1920s, working hard to save money for their world travelling plans. In the process of travelling around the world, they must learn saving, depositing and making good use of their money, and strategically make use of the "Deposit Award Cards" and "Interests Function Cards" in order to win the game. The game also includes funny elements like "Safety Cards" and "Money-defending Robots" defending their deposits, delivering the message of safe depositing underting the DPS to achieve their dreams. This game is suitable for young and old and can be utilised as a parenting activity.
